Description

Premium Files Manager is an Invision Power Board plugin which allows you to give access to files on your server or a remote server to only certain groups. It also lets you give a certain amount of files per amount of time to different groups. For example if you could let guests download 5 files a week, but memebers would get 50 or unlimited files per week.

Install

1. Upload the .rar to your forums directory and extract.
2. Go to the admin cp > admin > manage components. Next to 'OR enter the filename of the XML settings file' type premium_component.xml and hit Import. You should now see the component as enabled.
3. Now go to your forums and click the Premium Media link. You should see a message at the top about creating tables.
4. You have it installed!

Setup

To start off add a filelist. Put the name you want people to see under 'Name of Filelist', put the full url of the filelist (ex: http://www.domain.com/list.txt), and put the url of the folder where the files are actually located (ex: http://www.domain.com/files). Submit that list and it should come up under filelists, now click edit next to that list. Now you can add groups that have access to the filelist. If you don't add the group it will not have access to the filelist. Putting 0 for downloads lets that group have unlimited downloads. Each time the filelist changes click the 'Update DB' button to update the list.
